“We have been working with McKenzie Commercial since 2015 and recently completed a $6 million expansion and remodel.
From the initial design-build meetings, through all phases of construction, working with their team was an incredibly positive experience. The project itself was unique; a state-of-the-art animal shelter with specialized waste and air-handling systems, as well as custom designed animal holding and medical areas. There was very little that was cookie-cutter, and only a few examples to learn from exist around the country. Throughout the process, their team was professional and competent. The construction phase was smooth and to schedule. Because the project was an expansion and remodel of our existing shelter, we had to remain fully operational during construction.
