Mckenzie Commercial Construction

City of Eugene, Campbell Community Center

155 High Street, Eugene, OR

Built in 1968, The Campbell Community Center was one of the first of its kind on the west coast. Serving adults/seniors for over 50 years, the center welcomes nearly 300 people a day.

Home to programs that promote health, independence, social connections, support networks and quality of life, the center has simply outgrown the space. Current limitations in room size hinder the ability to meet the future demands of Eugene's growing aging community.

You can expect to see the addition of a fitness center, as well as the addition of multi-purpose meeting rooms. The lobby will be reconfigured to create a larger, more open and inviting space that will facilitate increased visibility and better traffic flow.

Teaming up with the City of Eugene, PIVOT Architecture and Brightworks, this project is on track to achieve LEED Silver certification. We have selected Senior Project Superintendent, Gordon Rea, recipient of the 2019 American Institute of Architects Eugene Craftsmanship Award to oversee the successful completion of this project.
