NWCCU

Northwest Community Credit Union – Portland

Remodel

As NWCU continues to increase their footprint in the Portland market, their new branch stands out from the rest. Redesigning the interior space included a new lobby, waiting area, teller row, open workstations, private offices, restrooms, storage and server rooms. Work included modifications to the storefront to reconfigure the entry and ceiling. The ductwork in the lobby area was left exposed and painted, the rear wall and ceiling at the teller counter area is covered with pre-finished wood and the storefront windows at the ATM/vault room were covered with removable panels with a finished wood face.

The use of recessed lighting served to create a focal point for the teller counter, and the use of exposed wood and accent colors at the open workstations add an inviting branding element to the space. The Northwest ambiance is emphasized with wood accents throughout, artwork and glass partitions etched with trees.
